This armor, passed down through the Ikeda family of Himeji Castle, is a rare female armor with a refined and elegant design, still exuding a strong presence today. To translate the beautiful “Tatewaku Mon” pattern into modern wear, the design simplifies the details while using fabric transitions to emphasize the armor’s unique texture, creating an organic and sophisticated feel.
